Desktop
larch builds desktop apps with Electron. Bridddge, our LinkedIn app for macOS, is Electron and React with its own embedded browser, and everything runs locally on the user’s machine.
Bring the idea. We’ll tell you how we’d build it and what it takes.
01 / Built with Electron
Bridddge runs LinkedIn work from a Mac app instead of a browser extension or a cloud service.

What you get
Bridddge’s custom Lyra theme and the Electron app under it came from the same team.
Bridddge’s screens run on shadcn/ui with Lyra, its own theme: blue primary, sharp edges.
03 / How we use Electron
LinkedIn automation tools are browser extensions that get detected and banned, or cloud services that put the account at risk. Bridddge is a desktop app instead.
LinkedIn is essential for sales, recruiting and networking, and the manual work behind it takes hours a day: connection requests, follow-up messages, posts. We built Bridddge as a macOS desktop app with its own embedded browser, which removes the detection risk that browser extensions carry. Everything runs on the user’s machine, and no data leaves it.
Electron ships Chromium, and Bridddge uses that embedded browser for LinkedIn. The interface around it is React. A multi-page Vite build gives each feature its own React app: the dashboard, the CRM, Social Selling Index analytics, the post scheduler and the automations. The screens use shadcn/ui with a custom theme called Lyra, with a blue primary color and sharp edges.
Data stays in a local SQLite database, with no cloud service behind it. The CRM tracks every connection with its status, notes and action history, next to Social Selling Index analytics. The automation engine runs on its own: it sends connection requests from search queries, runs multi-step message sequences with set delays, likes a prospect’s posts before connecting, and publishes scheduled posts with media. Human-like delays of 20 to 45 seconds, daily rate limits and a processing queue are there to keep accounts safe.
Bridddge also contains an MCP server with 30+ tools. Through it, Claude Code works with LinkedIn directly: it searches for prospects, analyzes networks, writes personalized outreach and manages campaigns from plain-language requests.
Bridddge ships as a signed and notarized macOS app, distributed with an Apple Developer ID.
