## How we use MCP servers

Tools an AI editor can call. An MCP server turns a product’s features into tools an AI assistant can call. We built two, and each one works from inside the editor or the app people already use.

### seo-mcp: SEO audits in the editor

Professional SEO tools are expensive, need API keys and live outside the development workflow. seo-mcp is a free, open-source MCP server that brings the audit into AI editors such as Claude Desktop, Claude Code and Cursor. You ask the assistant to audit a page, crawl a site or watch for content changes, and it does, without leaving the editor. It needs no API keys and runs locally.

The server has 28 audit rules covering meta tags, content quality, technical factors and performance signals. Each rule returns structured findings ranked by severity and written for an LLM to read, so the assistant can explain an issue and prioritize the fix. A full crawl follows a site to a configurable depth and page limit, and Node.js worker threads scan the pages in parallel. Each page comes back with DOM details, a link graph, a resource inventory and an issue breakdown. Because the findings land in the conversation, people can ask follow-up questions and run targeted fixes without switching tools.

For live monitoring, seo-mcp connects to Firehose by Ahrefs over Server-Sent Events and filters content changes with Lucene queries. The code is on GitHub, where anyone can read the rules, contribute new ones or extend the tool.

### Bridddge: LinkedIn for Claude Code

Bridddge is our macOS app for LinkedIn, and it ships with its own MCP server. The server exposes 30+ tools that give Claude Code direct access to LinkedIn. From plain-language requests, Claude Code searches for prospects, analyzes networks, writes personalized outreach and manages campaigns. The work runs through the app on the user’s own machine, with data in a local SQLite database.
