01 / The problem

01 / The problem

Scattered shelves.

A whole world of manga. No single place to find it.

Manga fans had to search bookstore after bookstore to see what was available locally. Titles were scattered across retailers, often listed under inconsistent or incomplete names.

There were no genre filters, no way to compare prices and no reliable stock tracking. Finding one book meant doing the research all over again.

  • No genre filters
  • No price comparison
  • No stock tracking

02 / The solution

02 / The solution

One catalog, every shelf.

A full-stack catalog and price tracker that does the searching for you.

Hiki aggregates several bookstores into a single catalog. Scrapers run every day, collect what each store has on its shelves and notice when something changes: a new arrival, a price drop, a title back in stock.

Every title is then enriched from anime databases, so a listing with a mangled name still becomes a proper entry with a cover, genres, tags and a score. Readers get all of it in a fast, filterable interface, in their own language.
